CSV Creation and Export Instruction for BAREIS Based MLS System
REQUIRED FIELDS IN CORRECT ORDER
The following fields must be in your final CSV file and in the order indicated.
- Status Display
- Address - Street Number
- Address - Street Name
- Address - City
- Address - State
- Address - Zip Code
- Year Built
- Square Footage
- Lot Size - Sq Ft
- Listing Date
- List Price Display
- Pending Date
- Selling Date
- Sale Price Display
- Status Date
- DOM
- Short Sale
- REO
STEP 1.
Login into your MLS account and navigate to the "Admin" button and then to "Custom Export Setup" as indicated below.
STEP 2.
Click on the "Create Export" button.
STEP 3.
Name your Export Rule, and then select "Custom" from the only pull down box available. Match the settings below.
STEP 4.
Click on the "Save" button.
STEP 5.
Locate the required fields in the "Available Residential Fields" window, highlight them one at at time and "Add" them so that they appear in the "Selected Fields" window in the correct order. Make sure to include only the 18 fields that match the list above.
STEP 6.
Click on the "Save" button.
Your Export is ready to use!The following is a demonstration of running a map search for a market area.
STEP 1.
Select your area. Any search is possible, but it must be for a period of 1 year.
STEP 2.
As stated above, research for all records for a period of one year from the effective date of the report. This demo is searching for all records within the Map Search Area, but you can add additonal research parameters that represents the Subject market.
The effective date of this demo is "5/27/09"
STEP 3.
Click on the "Exports" button.
STEP 4.
Select the Export that you created from the pull down box and then click on the "Submit" button.
STEP 5.
Click on the file created by the MLS system.
Save the .CSV file to your computer The file "100028857_RESI_3E75.csv " (You can rename this file to anything you want.)
STEP 6.
Navigate to the MLS Analytics Page. (Launch a new browser to the BAREIS MLS Analytics Page.)
Browse for the .CSV file and click upload. Make sure that the effective date of the data matches your research parameters.
